The workshop is to provide an interdisciplinary forum to discuss epistemic transfers between different disciplines during the Reformation period. Specific intersections of theology and natural sciences as well as humanities are of major interest here. Entanglements of different disciplines or ways of an interchange are investigated on the basis of specific case studies as for example astronomy in Lutheran confession culture or Hungarian Reformation Encyclopedists.
